Environmental Responsibility
For several years, efluid has pursued an ambitious policy focused on managing energy consumption, reducing waste and limiting greenhouse gas emissions.
The continuous improvement of building energy performance, the gradual decarbonisation of transport and the optimisation of waste management form part of a measurable, long-term strategy. Progress is monitored through regular carbon footprint assessments.
Through its Corporate Foundation, efluid also supports biodiversity and contributes to recognised national programmes such as Nature 2050.
Responsible Digital Practices
efluid has adopted a structured responsible digital strategy to reduce the environmental impact of its digital activities.
An action plan is currently being implemented based on the Avoid–Reduce–Offset approach. Its aim is to avoid unnecessary development, environments and equipment while reducing the resource and energy consumption of applications and infrastructure.
efluid also plans to offset its impact by increasing the proportion of renewable energy in its electricity consumption. Clearly defined indicators support continuous improvement across the entire value chain, particularly in eco-design, customer integration and hosting.
Responsible Innovation
efluid’s approach to responsible innovation begins with digital sustainability. The solution’s extensive configurability reduces the need for new development compared with standard market solutions. This limits both code production and the use of technical and energy resources.
The company also actively contributes to the energy transition by designing solutions that support renewable energy, circular models and smart grid management. These solutions help optimise investment and encourage a more efficient use of energy.
Finally, efluid favours shared hosting solutions to reduce infrastructure duplication and lower its overall energy footprint.
